Class: Pollinator Gardening
Saturday, July 15 — 10:15am
$15 general admission/$10 Homestead Atlanta members – registration required
Pollinator gardening is more than a trendy buzz phrase. It’s a vital component of sustainable environmental stewardship. Whether you’ve got a balcony garden or an entire acre, learn how to attract and nourish the beneficial insects that play a key role in our neighborhood – and global – eco-systems.
During this session we’ll discuss:
- Pollinator turn ons and turn offs
- Safe pest/disease management
- Options for shade, sun, wet, dry, containers, and in-ground gardens
- Pollinator plants for all the seasons
Instructor: Linda Corbin, member of Garden*Hood’s nursery team. Linda has decades of experience employing sustainable, pollinator-friendly gardening techniques in her native Kentucky and, most recently, here in Atlanta.
